POSITION DETAILS

  • Burns Lake Maintenance Shop
  • 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
  • $38.52 per hour as per the current Collective Agreement
  • Continuing position starting March 6, 2024

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
  • Valid Red Seal Certification as an Electrician and the required Field Safety Representative training
  • B.C. Driver's License – class 5 with an exemplary driving record as demonstrated by a current driver's abstract.
  • Experience gained through Trades Qualification apprenticeship program inclusive of 2 years industry related experience.
  • One additional year of experience as a certified electrician
  • WHMIS Certificate and familiarity with Work Safe BC (WCB) safety procedures

Nechako Lakes School District gratefully acknowledges that we are situated on the traditional territories of fourteen First Nations representing the Dakelh, Nedut’en and Wet’suwet’en peoples. In addition to the community schools, SD91 also operates EBUS Academy , a non-standard, Provincial Online Learning School (POLS) that enrolls several thousand full and part-time students. EBUS is one of the most established and largest online schools in British Columbia serving families and students across the province.
